The Pnssmore Shield, for competition among the secondary school cadeta of New Zealand, has been awarded to Nolson College. On the preliminary inspection the leading schools in cncli military district were:— ' Auckland—King's College. Wellington—Scots College. Canterbury—Nelson College. Otngo-Otago Boys' High School. On the final inspection, Colonel Chesnev Captains Honderson and Brock declared Nelson College tlio winner for New The competition comprised infantry and physical training and musketry.
