The Federal Trade Commission has advisod President Wilson that he has no power to prevent the importation of foreign wheat, as demanded by farmers hit by the falling prices. The commission's report says that a large volume of futurn wheat trading is mere gambling, involving great economic waste. It recommends that it bo stopped by a Congressional regulation.—Aus.-N.Z.
