Building bricks made froiu furnace clinkers are fining widespread in the Brest district in certain kinds of building construction." The materals used are sand, lime, and cement, with a base of crushed ooal clinkers. The lower grade of blocks also contain some coal cinders. 'Hie clinker building blocks are particularly used in pavonieuts, wills, floors, and cellars warehouses, states, gorages, rough buildings, and small rcaicioi'CW. The blocks have the advantages over bricks for building material in that they are cheaper and facilitate quick con - struction. The ytake plaster oh the interior and stucco on the exterior where it ia desirable in building.
