Tho fortnightly sales of hides, skins, and tallow were held on Friday by tho various brokers. Messrs. Dalgety and Co. report that medium catalogues were offered lb a full bench of buyers, but their buying limits wero low. Competition was by no means keen, and a fair number of the lots wero passed in. Mutton, tallow, first grade 58s. Gd.;-. mixed tallow, good colour, 5Gs.. 585.; fair colour, oOs., 525.; mixed tallow, dull 165.; gut tallow, 405., 125." ■
