Tho namee of the entire Canadion Expeditionary Forces, with rank, duties, engagements, and records, gathered on two' continents, have been preserved in detail nnd assigned a nlaco in tho central column of this Canadian pantheon. The original estimate of the cost of tho building wns about .£1,000,000, "and tho hall was to bo ready for this session of 1919. ' Canadian material of the highest quality was used in the entire structure. A few pieces of coloured marble from Tennessee and a small quantity of dressing.6tone from Ohio, to be used for blends in the Hall of Fame, include all the building materi*l imported.
