For the purpose of .celebrafting tho "breaking-up" of the evening classes in connection with the Petono Technical School, a successful social and dance was hold by tho pupils last evening. The room had been prettily decorated, and the major portion of the entertainment was devoiled to dancing, the music for which was supplied by Mrs. Pollock. Mesdames Cate, Eynskey, and Stevens were chaperons. The following committeo was responsible for the excollent arrangements :—Misses M. Sharpe, P. Ahrahail, A. Caehmore, L. Flowers, M. Mockeridge, R.
