FORGERS SENTENCED
» LARGE SUM INVOLVED. (Rec. December 12, 5.5 p.m.) London, December 10. John Brem&n, manager of the Whitecliapel branch of Lloyds Bunk, and Jacob Prager, a customer of the bank, on charges of being concerned jointly in forging an' acceptance bill for .£9lO, have been sentenced to five years' imprisonment. During the hearing of the ensa the prosecution stated that the prisoners admitted similar forgeries, involving a total of .£ls,ooo.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
