Mr. Hooper said this would be his last championship effort, owing to failing eyesight. Mr. Dixon chairman of the Billiards Council, presented Sir. Hooper wiflh a diamond-stud-ded eold medal, struck by the lata Billiards Association, In honour of his Au«tralasian ch/impioiyih'ip, which could not be presented beforo owing to the war's Interruption—Aus.-N.Z.
