TRANSPORT FACILITIES
IMPROVEMENTS WANTED AT WAIROA. By Telegraph—Press Association. Walron, December 12. The need for improvement in facilities for transport has been proved during tho last two days. Yesterday afternoon the Motor Company's coach from Napier to Wairoa, wont over a hank on ton of a hill on the Waiknri-Mohaka section of tho road, near Willow Flat. Tho coach was badly suinehe'd and tho horses knocked about, but tho driver escaped injury. There were no passonßers aboard nt the time of the accident. One of the horses became restive and kicked over tlie trace and disturbed the others, and the whole outfit rolled over the bank and down the stoop slope. There was'n small mail aboard, but it was not damaged to any went extent. Further troublo was caused by a lorry, which crashed throuuh tho Moliaka Rridße, causinir a blockniro of several hours on the Napior-Wairoa Hoad. The bridite has since been repaired and traffic has now been resumed.
