PLAGUE THREATENING PARIS
MYSTERIOUS EASTERN MALADY. London, December 1. Adviccs from Paris state that a mysterious Eastern malady resembling' the plnfuo, is reported, in tho Senate to be threatening Paris. Tho disease is not named, and is known as "Number Nine." It attacks immigrants from Eastern Europo. The Minister of Health said that special mobile ambulances, doctors, and nurses, had beau organised on the lines of a fire brigade, against the plague. —Rfluter.
