INFECTIOUS DISEASES
CASES FOR THE WEEK. During the week ended noon j-ester-day, 15 cases of infectious diseases were roported in the Wellington public health district, a decrease of five compared with the previous week. Hospital districts which reported cases 'were:— Waipawa, varicella 1. Palmcrston North, diphtheria 2. Wellington, scarlet fevor 1, diphtheria 2, tuberculosis -1, pneumonia 1, varicella 1. Wairau, scarlet fever 1, influenza 1. Nelsou, diphtheria 1. The following table gives details of the cases notified, the figures for the previous week also being shown:— , Last Previous week. week.
