Tirol sevon/teeiith. (annual tournament under tho auspices of tho Publio Schools' Tennis. Association . was commenced on Saturday .in the Brougham Hill and Wellington Clubs' courts. Excellent progress was made in tho Boys' events, which were played on the Palmer Street courts under the direction of -Mr. W. H. Schinton. The girls' events were played at Brougham Hill and, as usual, itho matches wore under tho control of . Miss Fraser and Mr. W. J. Melody, whilst Mr. J. A. B. Howo ofiiealsd as general roforeo. The games will be continued this morning at Brougham Hill courts ait 9 o'clock.
