Acceptances for the Dannevirke meeting are not due until Thursday nexil Owners will doubtless appreciate tho fact that they can see their horses' form beforo being required to enter into further liabilities. It i6'a piiy all racing clubs do not study owners as the Danuevirko Club is doing. The Feilding owned Miss Elva does not get much racing, so that after her two races last week site should be a greatly-improved mare, and should race prominently in her next public outing. After racing at the Feilding meeting, Blackhead, Sandy M'Donald, ltisiiighani, and Martial Dawn were taken to Woodville, where they will be raced next week. As their owner will be in Auckland at Christinas it is probablo that! tho toam will be racing at Ellerslie. _ The high-priced Martian—Secret Link filly is now commencing to show a bit of form at Trentham, and- if 6he goes on tho right way it is her owner'B indention to race her at the Wairarapa meeting at the. The Trentham horses which are • engaged at tho Woodville meeting are to be railed north on Tuesday. J. Lovematch, who is one of the fancied candidates for tho Auckland Cup, was 602U under silk in the Manchester Handicap at Feilding, but thougli she strippod well her showing was very poor.
