Interesting reference was made to the use of the kinema in the school at a meeting of tho Northampton (England) Education Committee recently, when tho advisability of giving a grant towards its upkeep was under discussion. Mr A. Allebono said he eat through ono of tho performances, and that night ho could not sleep as his eyes were so badly affected. Another member who was present said ho thought the children got ss. worth of education and 255. worth of damage to tho eyesight from the per formance. It was decided to give a grant of £2r> provided the apparatus was improved Mr. Allobone saying that he thought eventually instruction by kinemato»rai>h would In? most valuable in tho schools
