First prize -of £W.MO in tho British Air Ministry amphibian competition has Wn awarded to the Vickers "Viking." The fact that the Air Ministry has not withheld the. prize in this section of 'tho competitions has Riven much satisfaction to the industry, thoir previous decision to withhold prizes having had an adverse effect on the foreign demand for British aeroplanes.
