CONAN DOYLE LECTURES
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle brought his two imall eons (aged 10 and 12) to Australia with him, but as lie will only bo able to stay in the Dominion tor two weeks he will not bo able to-bring, them across. In the spare time he.has had from his lectures Conan Doyle has been collecting material for the book of impressions ho is writing from his tour. He has been down mines in Australia, has spent time on a station watching the shearers lit work, and has shown his great love of sport by frequent attendance • at football and cricket matches. Boxing in to Sir Arthur's way of thinking the finest singleman sport, and football tho beat collective one. What lie has douo in Australia Conau Doyle hopes to do in Now Zealand, and his ono regret is that his visit must of necessity bo so short. He will arrive in Wellington on December 10. ana give two lectures on December 11 and December 13. Tho box plan For both will £as_n at the Bristol next Tuesday morning.
