SECOND TRIAL OF THORN CONTINUED. Br Telegrnpn—Press Association Auckland, November 30. The second trial of Samuel John Thorn on the charge of having murdered Sidney Seymour Eyre at Pukelcawu ou August M was continued in'tho Supreme Court today. Mrs. Eyre was in the witness-box for about fivo hours, during tho major portion of which she was under crossexamination. The facts adduced were fimilnr to those given in evidence at the previous trial. Philip Sidney Eyre, aged 18, was another witness heard to-day. The case was again adjourned.
