LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

A PLIMMERTON COMPLAINT Sir,—Will you permit me, by means of your columns, to ask the Eutt County Council when the road on tlie beach, aide of the Taupo Number 2 Block at Plimmerton is going to be made. A petition for the road was presented to tho council 6omo two years ago, and was followed up by a deputation, but nothing lias been done. The sections on mis frontage accommodate a largo number of houses, which, from their type, must yield a considerable revenue in rates, and it is pretty discreditable to the council that it neglects to provide proper aocess, particularly when itt was its plain duty to have insisted on the, formation of the road before it passed the plans for tho property when it was cut up—l am, eto., TAUPO.
