LONDON LABOUR PARTY
DECLINES TO AFFILIATE WITH COMMUNISTS. London, November 28. A conference of the London Labour Party represented 364,426 members, an increase of 170 per cent, since 1914. On the rejection of the Communist Party's application for affiliation, Mr. Morrison, the secretary, remarked that the movement in London was going to be run by London, not by Moscow. The party, by 349 votes to 241, declined tio affiliate with the Communist Party.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. MOSCOW'S ATTEMPT AT DICTATION DECLARED BY TRADES CONGRESS TO BE INADMISSABLE. London, November 28. The International Trade Union Congress adopted Mr. J. H. Thomas's addition to the previous resolution concerning Moscow's attempt at dictation, declaring that tho claims of tihe Soviet leaders to govern the country and direct the workers' international movement were irreconcilable and inadmissable.— Aus.-N.Z.
