SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
A concert was riven at tee 6i lions' Friend Sooiety by the Women's National Keßerve (Kilbirnie braneh) on Thursday, when encores were the finer of the evening. Hospitality was r«Yided by the ladies. The performers were:—ll.ru. Er.thell. Misses Mona Taylor. Waldle, Lilly Taylor. •Simpson. Jtcßsrs. fltcknell, L'sror. Davlce. Jltb. Bethcll and Miss Vnldie \«n>at the piano. Mr. Moore took r>s the pubject of his temnerance chat, "With-Without," and pledges were taken at the close. The competition prizes came from the tranch, and went to Shropshire. Tairoa, iiemnera. Mrs. E. T. Taylor, the branch's secretary, responded.
