The Food Controller, in a speech, stated that the world's price of wheat had been readjusted, giving a bettor indication of the probable corn-so of the prices of foodstuffs and commodities generally than any other article. The fall in wheat prices in America and in Australia marked the commencement of a real change in 'the economic situation and a definite lower level of food prices would prevail in Britain during 1321. The rationing of sugar would cease on November 29.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. AMERICAN FARMERS HOLDING GRAIN IN ATTEMPT TO FOECE UP PEICES. New York, November 24. The refusal of farmers at Fargo, North Dakota, to sell their grain, in on attempt to increase the price to three dollars per bushel, caused nine bonks to close within ten days. The institutions had granted the farmers heavy credits and could not realise on the loans when the grain remained unsold.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
