Chrlstchurch, November 21. it the inquest on Vera Acourt, aged eighteen, an employee of tho Kaiapoi fiictorv, whose body was found in the Avon River, near New Brighton yesterday, the father said she left home on Tuesday, 6inco when he had not 6ccn her alive. He did noi know why she left liome. She had gone away on two previous occasions. A verdict wag returned of death hv drowning, but thero was no evidence to chow whether the drowning was intentional or accidental.
