RACIAL CONFLICTS IN BOHEMIA
BETWEEN GERMANS AND CZECHS. (Rec. November 18, 8 p.m.) Vienna, November 17. Racial conflicts ocourred in Bohemia, especially at fragile, between Germans' and Czechs, following on the Czechs' destruction of the stat.no of the Austrian Emperor Joseph at T'oplitz. Germans raided the Czech schools, colleges, and libraries, and threw thousands of books into the streets. Czechs entered German houses and institutions and destroyed all portraits of the ex-Emperors Karl and William.—A.us.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
