Hoover'and a group of inrfustrial engineers concerning economic and industrial conditions in' tho United States, presumably with the purpose of framing a legislative programme which Congress will be urged to adopt. It is understood, that the Federation seeks to harmonise industry, establish, co-opera-tive shop management, and repeal the oxisting law on compulsory arbitration, and it is opposed (o laws restricting wortmen from stopping work when they desire to restrict immigration from ail parts of tho world.—Aus.-N.Z.
