The Wairarapa, Farmers' Co-operative Association, Ltd., Pahiatua, report on the as follow:—At Woodvilie, on Monday, a few pens of sheep and a heavy yarding of cattle were ottered to a pood attendance of buyers. We offered only cattle, and had a fair sharo of tho yarding. Choice dairy heifers for next year a requirements were in keen demand, Jerseys realising £12 dot head. Fat and store cows wero rather easlor. Wo report the following sales:— 5 fat cows, from £10 73.. 6(1.; 2 at £9, £7, to £5 55.: 3 ptoro do., from £4 7s. 6d„ £5 155., to £4 155.; 1 cow and calf, £9 155.; 1 Jersey cow, guaranteed. £13 135., 4 springing heifers. £10 155., £12, to £9; 1 Holstein heifer, £7 155.; 5 empty do.. £6 155.; S yearling do., from £4 to 355.; 5 grade Jersey do., £12 to £10 155.; 1 Jersey C(df, 255.; 2 Holstein steers, £2 15a.; 8 2year steers, £8 to £5; 1 P.A. steer, £4 15b.; 1 registered Ayrshire bull, £10; 3 pigs, 255. At Pahiatua, in tho Maugahao yards, on Tuesday, a few pcnß of slieep nnd a small entry of cattlo came forward. The demand for both sheep and store cowi was very dull, and the bulk of tho yarding was competed for. We report tho following sales 37. hoggets, 283.: 0 fat ewe*. 265. 6d.; 3 springing cows, from £15 155.. £12 10s. to £9 ss.i 1 cow in milk, £6; 1 3-year springing heifers, £12; 1 P.A. bull, lljgns.; 1 S.II. bull, £4; hack, £6.
