The following nmounts were on deposit:— Bank of New Zealand, • i£7000; Public Trustee, .£0000; War Loan Certificates, .£1000: total, »Cl-i,OOO.

The following recommendations of the. Executive Committee .were agreed to:— "Board meetings—That the following dates be fixed for board meetings: Wednesday, ■o)ccembor 8, and Wednesday, January 2G; February and Fiicceeding months', third Wednesday. That the following bo approved: (a) Confirmation of appointment of Mr. M. Chapman as assessor in reVition to Sampson's property. (b) I'icton—Establishment of side school' as from February 1, 1921, and renting of Anglican Cliurchroom at J!ls per annum for threo years, at .£3O in succeedings three if the tenancy 'continues. the board to erect on the site a shed 20ft. x 10ft. That subject to tho inspector's approval of the arrangements a model sohoel bo established in. accordance with the Departments circular: (a) for Marlborough, in the old board room; (b) for Wairarapa, in a room at tho District High School, Mastcrton."
