Gruar. borough councillor and a prominent business man. evid'-iico was Riven that deceased was driving a molarcar,- and; hearing a car behind, pulled to flie side of Iho road. His car'struck a log conccaled in the grass and overturned, and- pinned him beneath. Ho , was operated upon, and rallied, hut later 'collapsed, and died. A. verdict wan returned that death was due to injuries received through the- car lying on him.
