Tho Kamona from Auckland has been delayed by a southerly gale. The steamer Stolberg, ono of six vessels • recently purchased by tho Union Company, which will bo renamed Waiota.pu, 101 l England on November 11 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers, via Newport News and Panama. MOANA TO REPLACE ATDA. The Atua will load fruit at Fiji toward the end of .tho month for Auckland. Shu will then proceed to Sydney for overhaul, and tho Moana will tako up hor running, leaving Sydnev on December 11 for Fiji, whero she will load sugar for Auckland.
PORT OF AUCKLAND RETURNS. During October tho shipping arrivals at tho rport of Auckland represented a grand total of 447 vessels of 303,973 gross tons and 186,314 net tons. As compared with tho returns for October. 1919, the largo shipping 6hows an increase of 14 vessels of 63,740 tons and 41,657 net tons. Tho departures consisted of. one Britißli w:ir ship, two Royal Mail steamers, 19 oversea steamers, nine intercolonial or Island tradera, one mission ship, 16 coastal steamers, three. Government steamers, two intercolonial sailing vessels, one coastal sailing vessel, together with 363 looal coastnl vessel, v.aking a grand total of 437 vessels «! 286,247 gross tons and 174,214 net tunß. MANUKA TO ARRIVE TO-DAY. The Manuka, which is en route from Sydney, advises by wireless that she expects to make port at 4 o'clock this afternoon. KATHLAMBA FOR NEW ZEALAND. The Katblamba left New York on November 3 for Auckland, Wellington; Brisbane, and Sydney. The vessel is' due hero on December 13. She should be at Auckland a week before that. ARAWA LEAVES LONDON. The S.S. and A. liner Arawa left London for Auckland and Wellington on Thursday. She is duo at the northern port on December 25, and'should be in Wellington on January T. THE KENNEDY. Messrs. Levin and Company advise that tho steamer Kennedy was to havo bcou beached on" Saturday in order that temporary repairs might bo carried out. It is expected that it will be about ton days before the Kennedy roaches Wellington. LES VEGAS FROM SAN' FRANOISOO. The General ' Steamship Corporation's Bteamer Ijea Vegas, which left San Francisco on October 23, io duo at Auckland on November 20, and should bo here about nine days later. She will discharge her cargo of gasoline, lumber, and general cargo at Auckland, Napier, and Wellington. SURREY TO LOAD. The Surrey is expected to leave Sydney on November 25 for Now Zealand, to load in the Dominion for London, under tho ■ auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company. , . TARAWERA'S m6VEMBNTS. The Tarawera is due hero from Duncdin, about November 20, and is to sail on the return trip to Sydney on November 22. HORORATA LEAVES NEW YORK. Tho Hororata left New York on November 5 for Auckland. Wellington, Sydney, Newcastle, and Brisbane. She is duo at Auckland about December 4, and should bo in Wellington by December 13. CITY OF BRISTOL FOR SOUTH. ■ Tho Citv of Bristol left New York on November 7 for Lyttelton, Dnnedin. Melbourne, and Adelaide. .The vessel 1b due at Lyttclton on November 14. The Talnui is to sail to-day for- Lyttelton. She was unable la get away on Saturday. Tho Wakatu came off tho slip yesterday. Tho John is to go on to tho slip on Thursday. ■ *• . Tho Ngakuta arrived on Saturday from Newcastle, and proceeded to discharge powder. She was unable to sail for Lyttelton in tho evening, but it was hoped to dispatch her today. Tho Scales barque, Raupo has been delayed at Newcastle.' She was to have left there for Wellington last Saturday week, but owing to trouble with tho crew she did not sail. At. present the vessel is weather-bound. The Shropshire is now to sail from Bluff for Wellington to-morrow. Sho is due on Thursday. The Kowhai is duo to-morrow from Westport with a shipment of coal. Tho Kakapo, due on Wednesday from Greymouth, is also bringing coal. Tho Kamona is. not duo from Dunedin direct until tho end of tho week. She is to load for Auckland. • The. Oorinna will not reach Wellington from Nelson now until to-morrow.. Sho is to sail tho same day for Now Plymouth, The Fultala was to have loft Lyttelton yesterday for Duiiedin. Tho Port Kcinbla is due from Auckland to-day week. Sho has London cargo for discharge. ' Tho Hinemoa worked Stephen Island lighthouse- on Friday, French Pass on Saturday, and should visit Okuri and .Capo Farewell to-day. ..She'is'to sail at tho end of tho weok for southern lighthouses.
Messrs. Bannatyno and Co. adviso that owing to tho s.s. Nikau having to bo slipped on Tuesday for painting and cleaning, she will not Bail for Nelson on that day, but will take up her usual running on Thursday, November 18, sailing at 5 p.m.
