The weather was very wc-t and wintry and the attendance of the public was not as large as expected. I/)rd Jellicoo was presented with an address of welcome. In tho course of Iris reply lie expressed regret at being unable to be present at last week's Boy Scouts' Conference. Ho felt that tho Boy Scouts' movement was going to be a great help to tho Empire in the future.
