VICTORIAN MINERS' STRIKE
FIFTEEN-HUNDRED MEN IDLE. Melbourne, November 12. The Morwell and Monthaggi miners have ceased work, making -1500 idle, as the result of the brown coal dispute. Mr. Huehes stated'in the Lloiiso of Re-' present'atives that he was doing everything possiblo to effect a settlement.— Press Assn. •
