Dateety and Co., Ltd., report hr.vine received tho followinc cablegram from their London house under dato o( November 10:—"Tallow.—2440 casks were offered; 420 casks sold. Tallow, food colour, mixed.. unchanged. Medium and In. ferior descriptions.' 3s. to 4s. lower. Mutton, prime there are sellers at 75b.; buyers are holding off." Messrs. Abruhnm and Williams, Ltd., report:—At hide and tallow saljo, hold oil November 11, wo offered a good catalogue to a full bench of buyers, who, owing to adverse overseas reports, wore disinclined to operate, consequently atl grades of hides showed a considerable decline on last sale's rates. Calfskins were also lower by Cd. per lb. Tallow wn.s very dull of tsa'.lo, and practically no sales were made.
