DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC

A Maori shearer named Puhara Toheria, a native of "Wniroa, who severely injured himself while shearing on a local station, died in the Masterton Ifos-pital while under an anaesthetic on .Wednesday evening. At tho inquest a verdict was returned of "death from heart failure while uiiilgr an anaesthetic, the use of which was imperative for a HUigii'al uiie'-atioii."
