PUBLIC SERVICE • TOURNAMENT. At a meeting of delegates from various departments of the Public Service, it was decided to hold the annual tournament on St. Andrew's Day, November 30. . Great interest, is being taken in the annual contest, and the following departments have entered teams:-Agriculture, i Audit, Education, Imperial Government Supplies, In ternal Affairs, Life Insurance, Labour, Lands, Ordnance, Poet and Telegraph (J teams), Printing, Public Trust, Public Works (3 teams). Hallways, Treasury, and Native. Subject to the-convenience of tho clubs affected, it is proposed to hold the tournament on the Wellington and Thorndon greens, with an extra Beetion on the .- Victoria Green.
