Mnssoy) by Mr J M. Campbell, secretary of the Wellinjtton Trades and. Labour Council--I am directed by the above council to * record its emphatic protest a&aiiipt the Bill amending the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1903. _ That a Bill so palpably mikkosHvb of sinister motive; should be introduced to parliament in the dying hours of its session, without notice having been .given to the- parties diroctlv coucerned is oxtremely regrettable, whilst clause 3 is objectionable, • claxisc 4 2$ Hupcclntivnly so and well calculated to wreck i'jdu'cfcnnl uniomgm. respectfully susffeste that the Bill should be withdrawn, and a commission .instituted to discuss Li.bcur legislation durins the vec?ss. to report to •Parliament next session." ~^°P'e s the letter have been sent to
