The Bank of Eudand discount rate, which hud stood at 5 Der ccnt. since April . 6. 1917, on which da,te it was reduced from 6} per cent., -was raised to 6 per cent, onNovember 6. 1919. and to 7 per cent. 1 on April 15. 1920. . ■ OPEN MARKET HATES. The opon imirKet rate for three months' bills is 61 per cent, as compared with. 6j per cent, last week, and 4£ last year.
