At garrison headquarters tho diggers relate a striking story of the careless work of the British searchers. Particulars on a cross disagreed w : ith the Department, records, and in exhumation revealed another man. A systematic search has resulted in CO or 70 Australian graves being found to bo wrongly marked. The French peasantry are giving great assistance without payment on ifne grounds that Australia has done much for France, though feeling runs high against Britain because supposed leniency to Germany —•Aus-N.i.
