RIFLE SHOOTING
KETONE. CLUB. ' ' The third'handicap competition of the Petone Club was fired on Saturday at Trentham. The conditions were very unfavourable, the weather boing cold, dull, and a "fish-tail" .wind. It was difficult to keep till the shots on- the target. Rifleman J. Scott was the highest scorer on the target, hut m displaced by the handicaps by Rifleman Hill and V. Scott. The Old Navals' Club' fired: lis second match of the first series -on the Trentham range on Saturday for trophies donated by Captains E. D. Bell and A. V. H. Munro, and Mcesrs. F. M'Fraland, K. D.
