SCOTLAND PROHIBITION POLL
GREAT SUMS SPENT ON PROPAGANDA. (Rcc. October 31, 5.5. p.m.) London, October 30. There will bo a prohibition poll at GinsRow, Aberdeen, and Inverness on Tuesday. Mr. W. G. Johnson ("Pussyfoot"), who addressed forty meetings in seventeen days in Scotland, of which five were riotous, asserta that at least at third of the parishes voting on Tuesday will favour no-licmso. ' The "drys' Havo -spent ,£50,000 in election expenses, and distributed twenty million leaflets, but the "wets" have spent much more.— Aue.-N.Z. Cable Aran.
