Coining .from the direction of Masterton, the machine arrived over the showgrounds at about 5 p.iifc, and after describing a circle over the ring Captain Russell returned.'to Masterton his flight and descent being watched with l«cn interest by hundreds of peoplo on the showgrounds. .. . In'the opinion of a motorist who caine over the Bimutaka Hill recently, the road ■is in a worse condition than in 1914.
