The damage to tha steamer Stella Is hot so serious as was expected. Appar ently several rivets were started under the engine-room, but the inflow has been slopped. The vessel will he (locked tomorrow for repairs, and it Is expected she will resume early next week. MANUKA FOR SYDNEY. The Manuka. IB to sail for Sydney at five o'clock this afternoon. THE ALBIONSTAR, An unexpected arrival at Auckland on Tuesday wa« the Albionstar, belonging to the Blue Star Lino. The steamer brought 6996 tons of coal from Norfolk, Virginia, for the New Zealaud Railways Department, but as no berth was available she had to anchor in the stream. The Albionstar left • the American port on September 25 and oame via the fttnajna, Canal. She had a, good trip, flno weather being experienced throughout. The vessel, which is on her first visit to New Zealand, io 7900 tons gross register, and waß built by Messrs. Workman, Clark, and Co., Ltd., Belfast, in 1919, Sho is fitted with refrigrating machinery and will load frozen meat and other produco for Britain. SAILINGS FROM NEW YORK, The following A. and A.
