PORT NICHOLSON YACHT CLUB
His Excellency the Governor-Geuernl has intimated that h'o has been pleused to brcome patron of tho Port Nicholson Yacht Club.
Consideration was given by tlie committee Inst night to a. petition signed by a number of the yadlit owners in connection with a proposal to ehango the course. A suggestion 'for new courses was made, and tlie committed decided, to adopt the suggestion in toto. The conrss in a nortlwrly wind for the club's points races will now be from Clydo Quay -Wharf starting line, .inside ■ Jerninghnm buoy,, round mnrk at Somes liock, thence to Ngahnuranga, Jerninglmm, and back to slarliug line. In a southerly- wlnrt tlie course will be as foVlows;—From Clyde Quay starting line to Somes Fock murk, the southern flashing pile light, nnd back to starting line, passing .'J erninglram buoy, to port.;
