FEDERAL ARBITRATION COURT
RESIGNATION OF PRESIDENT. Melbourne, October 26. Mr. Justice Higgins is resigning the Presidency of tho Federal Arbitration Court, on the ground that the passing of the Industrial Peace Act created ft position leaving, him no other option. He says the new legislation has undermined the influence mid usefulness of the Court, and will give rise to many industrial stoppages.^ Mr. Hughes declined, to make any comment on the resignation—Press Assn.
