The Admiralty have (says "The Times") announced in Orders the nam>;s of tTie officers who have been selected for appointment to the New Zealand Navy, in accordance with the invitation for volunteers for service under tho Government of that Dominion. Hush, Acting-Lieutenant L. R. Homer, EngineerCommander W. H.Outfin, Engineer-Lieut. C. Marchant, Surgeon-Commander R. L. .lorfes, J3.A., Paymaster-Commander .T. Siddnlls, and Paymaster Lieutenant •A. Pigott, with six officers of warrant rank and above. For tho Philomel, the officers appointed are Commander J. G. Walsh. Licuton.mt 11. S. Darker, Engineer* Comnmiuler P. C. Minliinnick, Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander T. C. Patterson, M.B:, and Paymaster-Licutenant-Com-liiander 11. 51. Cockrom, with four of- , fleers of warrant rank and abovi,>. With the exception of Commander Walsh, the officers for the Philomel will bo accommodated in Chatham for passage.
