FIRE IN NEWSPAPER OFFICE

The flame* had a good'Vld when discovered, but tho Fire Brigade was success ul in sup. pressing them. Considerable damage was dole, mostly by water. Tho machines is intact. MINOR OUTBREAK IN THE CITY. The Firo Bvigailo •received, n, call at 10.50 o'clock yesterday mominc to the residence of Archdeacon Johnson, i 3 Bolton Street. A few of tho weather boards of tho house were on. fire, but the outbreak was suppressed before much damage was done. The causo of the firo is attributed to flying sparks from a neighbouring chimney.
