CO-OPERATIVE WHOLESALE SOCIETY NO CREDIT.FOE ENGLISH. STRIKERS. The secretary of the National Dairy Association cabled an inquiry to headquarters at Bristol regarding the statement cabled from London on October, 1.. that the Co-operative Wholesale Society will give indefinite credit to strikers. The inquiry elicited the following reply:—Press' cabled report altogether inaccurate. You are authorised to deny all such statements." The cablegram referred to, which appeared in last Monday's issue, stated: "The newspapers jioint out that the Cooperative Wholesale Society gives ii.dtfinito credit to strikers, and accepts credit notes from the miners' organisations."
