Mr. R M'Keen has resigned the position of secretary to tho "Wellington Labour Representation Committee, after serving tho committee for two years. Pressure of other work has forced Mr. M'K«en to take this course. It is understood that the executive will consider the appointment of a permanent secretory.
Mr. Frank Goldberg' left for Sydney by the Ulimaroa yesterday.
Mr James A. Roberts has been appointed by the Government. a member of the Otago Harbour Board in succession to Mr. H. L. Tapley, resigned.
Mr. George E. Dinniss lias been appointed manager of the New Plymouth Savings Bank.
