THE WEATHER
FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for strong ana Equally north-westerly to south-westerly winds, especially in Cook and Fovcaui Straits. Weather warm and hazy .for a few hours longer In the Eaet Coast districts, but a cool change inay be expected soon, with changeable, and showery conditions generally. Bull and misty, with rain probable, in the meantime on ail the western coast.
Atmospheric pressure lifts remained unsteady, and northerly and westerly breezes have prevailed, but stormy conditions have been reported in Foveaux > trait to-day.
