DEATH OF B. L. TAYLOR
FINDING OP THE CORONER. Mr. F. K. Runt, S.lf., held an inquest yesterday morniiiff into the circumstances attending the death of Bertram Leonard Taylor, land and cßtate aucnt. 3B years of ai;c, Tvho was found dead in his bedroom on Saturday with a revolver wound in his head. William liingard. land oeent, father-in-law of the deceased, said that Taylor was ■ a native - of Scotland, and had been In the Dominion for about ton years. For some time past Taylor had been in indifferent health: ho had an attack of insomnia, and hTs nerves had broken down. DurinE the nast fow dayß lie had been under the care of Dr. Fenwick. Witness spoke to Taylor on Saturday morning, and ho then seemed somewhat better. At about 12.15 n.m. that day lie recoived a telephone mossaee. and on going to the' house ho found the bedroom door and window locked. Witness forced open the window and (rained admittance to the room. He found TRylor lyinc on tho floor dead: a revolver was lylmj beside him, and there was a wound in his right temple. Witness also found a note writ ten by Taylor. Baying good-byo to liis wife, child, and friends, and stating that hiß ncrvcß were quite none. Taylor had no business worries, and was on • good terms with all. The Coroner found that deceased shot himself while in a state of levere nervous depression bronchi on by insomnia.
