LOWELL THOMAS TRAVELOGUE
It is claimed that, as a pictorial, record of one of the most notable drives of the great world, war; the historio films which Lowell Thomas brought back from the Holy Land, and which are to bo displayed for the first time ill Wellington at the Grand Opera House to-night, can hardly be surpassed, Mr. Thomas is touring New Zealand under J. C. Williamson's direction. The pictures themselves are said to be enough to compel the keenest interest, and Mr. Thomas's ability as a raconteur is said to make them entrancing in their, graphic portrayal of the progressive steps of the notable campaign of Field-Mar- • shal Allenby and the Anzacs in Palestine. Some conception of their appealing character may.be gathered from some of the scenes unfolded. Across the Mediterranean to Malta and Leypt. From Cairo to Palestine by battleplane, living across the Suez Canal, bixty thousand camels. With the Apac Light Horse and the Imperial Camel Corps in the Desert. Driving the Turks, frorn jkersheba.
