Those who have watched the training w,ork of Tom and Havilah Uren have often expressed surprise that'no association had offered a match to their mentor and trainer; "Ted" Uren, who explains by stating that he has.had quite enough in preparing his brothers for their contests, but now that the elder brother is temporarily out of action through the injury suffered to his hand in the' Slade contest, enthusiasts are to have an opportunity of seeing'- the most vigorous boxer of the family, if not the most, scientific. Uren is matched to meet "Digger." Evans at the Town Hall on October S6, and a very fast, open contest is anticipated. The box plan will be at the association office in. Featherston Street,' and intending natrons should note that, .seats may be booked from 10 o'clock on Wednesday morning.
